Fun little fact about me, I absolutely adore makeup, especially when it comes to products for the eyes.
I have been eyeing off (Ha, see what I did there) these makeup geek eyeshadows for months now and I have finally jumped abord and placed an order for 9 different pans, ranging from matte, foiled and duo chrome.
The colours are absolutely beautiful, so as soon as I got them in the mail I just had to do a swatch and review on my blog.

Above is a photo of my Makeup Geek Eyeshadow pans that I have. I have tried to keep the colouring as similar to real life as I possibly can.
Before jumping into the swatches, I just wanted to talk about how beautifully pigmented, creamy and blendable these products are. The hype is definitely real with these eyeshadows.
Makeup Geek offers such a wonderful range of colours in a matte, shimmer, satin, duo-chrome and foiled finish. There is definitely something to suit everyone!
One thing that did amaze me is how consistent the quality was over the 9 different eyeshadow pans I bought. Each and every colour was smooth, blendable, highly pigmented with minimal fallout.
Now lets get into the swatches!

Makeup Geek Eyeshadow – Creme Brulee is a soft light warm brown. It has a soft matte finish and acts as a great transition colour in the crease.
Makeup Geek Eyeshadow – Cupcake is a dusty medium toned rose pink. It is a pure matte shade that is creamy, pigmented and very easy to blend. This is great for a crease transition colour
Makeup Geek Eyeshadow – Frappe is a medium warm brown, there are definite undertones of red/orange in this colour. Its a matte colour that is perfect for the crease.
Makeup Geek Eyeshadow – Petal Pusher is a dusty medium toned mauve/pink. It is a pure matte shade that is creamy, easy to blend and very pigmented. This is great for darkening up the crease.
Makeup Geek Duochrome Eyshadow – I’m Peachless is a warm soft peach with a frosty peachy-pink finish. It is a duochrome shade that is creamy, highly pigmented and has minimal fall out when packed on the lid.
Makeup Geek Foiled Eyshadow – Grandstand is a warm medium brown with a coppery metallic and foiled sheen. The consistency is incredibly creamy and highly pigmented.

Makeup Geek Foiled Eyshadow – Starry Eyed is a beige champagne with a slight peach frost and metallic finish. The consistency is very smooth, creamy and highly pigmented.
Makeup Geek Foiled Eyshadow – Whimsical is a very pale baby pink with silvery pink frost and metalic finish. The consistenct is smooth, creamy, blendable and highly pigmented.
Overall Makeup Geek has quickly become one of my favourite and go to brands for eyeshadows. The eyeshadows are consistent, creamy, blendable, highly pigmented and have a minimal fall out.
The eyeshadows last well and are just as vibrant without the need of a primer, they do not crease and are long wearing. The foiled eyeshadows are something from out of this world, they have a cream to powder consistency when applied to the lid and have an intense metallic and frosted finish.
If you’re looking for some new eyeshadows to play around with that are affordable, I’d definitely give these a check.
